We are a 100% Aboriginal owned Fort McMurray-based company
Wild Feathers Inc. was established by Allen Hansen, a Metis trapper born in Fort McMurray in 1962, where he has lived his entire life. As a firefighter with over 20 years of experience, Al has witnessed the impact of human activity on the local wildlife. This has fueled his passion for creating job opportunities for community members and to promote the skills and traditions of the Aboriginal way of life.
Al envisions hiring experienced senior staff who can mentor and pass their knowledge to junior staff, creating a balance between the wildlife industry and cultural traditions.
